Welcoming Our New Overlords

Robot Party has come and gone but the carnage remains. You missed out if you weren’t at the show but there’s still time, the artwork will be up for another few weeks.

So many talented artists and the metal-loving masses converged on Monster Party, including some emissaries from Skynet. Read more, or look at pictars, after the break.

I contributed my three new pieces: “Ragebot”, “Never Alive, Not Quite Dead” and “0011011100110”. The walls were covered with innumerable styles and media, from fine art to affordable swag. There were even some irresistible edibles care of M.

Shameless swag alert, I have new button designs, shirts, hoodies, keychains, and magnets for sale.

Thanks to everyone who came out and made the event a massive success. I’m going to pop back in and take some better shots of the huge amount of artwork. My picture snapping suffered due to the mass of people and fun. Also, congratulations to all the artists who made the show such a spectacle. There is a massive amount of under-appreciated talent in this town.

Stop at the coolest gallery on Vancouver Island, shake Phil Osborne’s hand, and thank him for keeping fun alive here in Victoria.
